Club History

Basildon Snooker Centre was opened in November 1981 and has built up an enviable reputation as one of the best snooker clubs in the country, often visited by some of the game's best known names.

The club and its players have won many titles & competitions over the years and are looking forward to repeating past success in the future.
This season we have 2 teams competing in the Monday night Vic Harris Essex Snooker League.

Basildon Snooker is very much a traditionally run snooker club. We take huge pride ensuring that all the tables are maintained to the highest possible standards and that our members are looked after extremely well.

The layout of the club ensures that there’s ample room for a quiet, relaxing game of snooker.
